It continues southeast where it passes through the Pennsylvania State University's University Park campus and passes under the Information Sciences and Technology building into central State College. The road then intersects PA 26 southbound at College Avenue and PA 26 northbound at Beaver Avenue. U.S. Route 322 Business proceeds eastward through Boalsburg. A concurrency with PA 45 begins at Shingletown Road and ends at Earlystown Road.
